This is a business story of legend, the ocean and community.  IslanderSea Foof grow kelp just off Church Bay, Rathlin Island. Rathlin is synonymous with clean, cold waters due to the mix of Irish Sea and Atlantic currents. This makes it ideal for growing and harvesting of Kelp forests.

When we were facing a very challenging time, XPinnovates were there for us, and provided amazing support and guidance.

The ready-to-use can be used in a salad, in soups, stir-fries, as a garnish, and as an ingredient in sauces and condiments. It can also be put through a processor and added to bread and pasta dough, giving added moisture, enhanced appearance, and that subtle ocean taste.

Islander Foods are now exporting across the world and can be found in top-level restaurants and hotels, as well as supermarket shelves.
